The John Erickson Trio

A powerhouse, tuneful, Chicago jazz combo not to be missed

The John Erickson Trio has been delighting audiences for over 10 years with it's unique arrangements of familiar pop & jazz classics, and it’s gorgeous original compositions. The groups broad repertoire includes songs from such wide ranging artists as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Dave Brubeck, Vince Guaraldi, Journey, U2, Thelonius Monk, Beethoven, and even The Muppets. Also known for wonderful holiday concerts, Gina Vodegel of All About Jazz writes, “the Erickson Trio creates a whole new universe with lush reharmonizations, extended melodies, and subtle force.
